MADISON, S.D. – The top two seeds - No. 1 seed Jamestown (N.D.) and No. 2 seed Mayville State (N.D.) - are set to clash in the first-ever North Star Athletic Conference Volleyball Postseason Tournament's championship match on Saturday night.  First serve is set for 7 p.m. at Hansen Center in Jamestown, N.D.

No. 4 seed Dakota State (S.D.) won the inauguarl NSAA Volleyball Postseason Tournament quarterfinal match with a 3-0 sweep over No. 5 seed Presentation (S.D.) on Nov. 2.  The Trojans won by the scores of 25-12, 25-15 and 25-23.

The Jimmies (25-8) swept No. 4 seed Dakota State (S.D.) 25-12, 25-12 and 25-19 in the first semifinal on Nov. 6  Mayville State earned a spot in the NSAA Volleyball Championship match with a 3-0 sweep over No. 3 Valley City State (N.D.) 25-9, 25-20 and 25-20.

Wednesday, Nov. 6 – Semifinals
Match 2:  No. 1 seed Jamestown (N.D.) def. No. 4 seed Dakota State (S.D.) (9-25, 2-6) 25-12, 25-12, 25-19
Match 3:  No. 2 seed Mayville State (N.D.) def. No. 3 seed Valley City State (N.D.) (13-25, 3-5) 25-9, 25-20, 25-20

Saturday, Nov. 9 – Championships
Match 4:  No. 2 seed Mayville State (N.D.) (21-17, 6-2) @ No. 1 seed Jamestown (N.D.) (25-8, 8-0) - 7 p.m.
