MADISON, S.D. – The North Star Athletic Association announced its seventh edition of the Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week honors by the conference office Tuesday.  Viterbo (Wis.) swept the weekly honor as Haley Swanson was named as Women's Runner-of-the-Week, while Jorge Pichardo was selected as Men's Runenr-of-the-Week

NSAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Haley Swanson – Viterbo (Wis.) – Junior – Sparta, Wis. – Swanson ran a personal record of 24 minutes, 24 seconds at the Wisconsin Private College Championships for Viterbo (Wis.).  She placed third overall in the 100-runner 6K field and was the fastest 6K runner for a V-Hawk since 2014.

NSAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Jorge Pichardo – Viterbo (Wis.) – Junior – Harvard, Ill. – Pichardo clocked a time of 28 minutes, 8 seconds as he earned a fourth-place finish at the Wisconsin Private College Championships for Viterbo (Wis.).  A total of 68 runners completed the men's 8K race.

Looking Ahead
All six NSAA members will be running in their final regular-season meet this Saturday before the North Star Athletic Association conference meet, which is scheduled for Nov. 5 in Dickinson, N.D. 

Dakota State (S.D.), Dickinson State (N.D.), Jamestown (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) are scheduled to run in the Mount Marty (S.D.) Invitational in Yankton, S.D. on Saturday.

Viterbo (Wis.) and Waldorf (Iowa) are slated to run in the NAIA Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
